From my personal collection: Stan Lee's Lantern

In 2001 D.C. comics thought it would be a good idea to let Marvel's favorite old guy write some stories for some of their characters. They could not have been more wrong. I thankfully only bought one of Lee's revamps of the DC cast, but understand that they are all equally... horrible. I bought the Green Lantern one and wow, it is bad. I haven't read it since after the first time and can not make myself read it again. From what I can remember Green Lantern is some douche professor, who gets shot, then gets magical powers from a tree and becomes G.L. In a letter to the reader in the beginning Stan Lee says, "Please don't think for one minute that this is an attempt to improve on any of the truly great characters that have become lege...ndary throughout the world." You can say that again.
